Rod Yancy: Is the managing attorney for RTY Law, a firm focused on estate planning, trust administration, probate, and estate and trust litigation. Rod is an Owasso native and lifelong Oklahoma resident. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a double major in Philosophy and Political Science. Rod went on to attend law school at the University of Oklahoma on scholarship. Rod married his wife Erin, his college sweetheart, in 2005. Rod and Erin have a son named Thomas, another son named William, and a dog named Paper. Rod is licensed to practice in the Oklahoma Supreme Court and all Oklahoma District Courts and the Arkansas Supreme Court and all Arkansas District Courts. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association, and the Tulsa County Bar Association. He is a frequent speaker on estate planning topics throughout the community. Rod is a past chair of the Tulsa County bar association’s estate planning, probate and elder law section. Rod is a past president of the Tulsa Financial Planner’s Association. Rod is also a member of WealthCounsel, a national network of estate planning attorneys, and ElderCounsel a national network of elder law attorneys. Rod is a frequent speaker for Oklahoma and Arkansas professional groups and the general public in Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Jacob “JJ” Kerksieck: JJ is an attorney at RTY Law and practices in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, and probate. JJ was born and raised in Stuttgart, Arkansas and has spent the last 8 years in Northwest Arkansas as a proud Razorback. JJ received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He then went on to Law School at the University of Arkansas, where he received his J.D. and then his Masters of Law (LLM).  JJ is a member of the Arkansas Bar, WealthCounsel, a national network of estate planning attorneys, and is licensed to practice throughout his native state.

Drew Gilbert: Drew is a paralegal at RTY Law. He attended the University of Oklahoma, earning his B.A. in International and Area Studies in 2009. Following a three-year period he spent teaching as a volunteer in Antofagasta, Chile and as a Composition instructor at the University of Oklahoma, he went on to attend the University of Virginia School of Law as a Law Dean’s Scholar. After his graduation in 2015, he spent a year practicing at a midsize firm in the District of Columbia before returning to Tulsa, Oklahoma, his hometown. Drew is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association.

MaryJoy Chuba: MaryJoy is a Paralegal at RTY Law.  She attended University Overseas graduating with a minor in Southeast Asian studies and major in Humanities and Political Economics. Her background in Political Economics got her an internship with the UN and later an NGO that focused of good governance policies. While in University she was an active member of Polis, a secretary to the Student executive board and a vice president of H-pair. After moving to the USA she received her paralegal certification from the University of Tulsa and has been working in such capacity since.  MaryJoy speaks four languages and loves to travel and explore new culture and cuisine with her two lovely children. She continues to dedicate her free time to UNICEF.

Vikki Carrell: Vikki is the RTY Law Funding Coordinator. She studied business at Northeastern State University and then moved to Stillwater to open a salon. After moving back to Tulsa to be closer to family, Vikki joined the RTY Law team, bringing a positive attitude and fun energy to work everyday. She enjoys spending free time with family, thrifting and repurposing antiques, and reading.

Maggie Collins: Maggie is our Client Services Coordinator at RTY Law. Originally from Virginia, she recently graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in communications. New to Tulsa, Maggie spends her free time volunteering at The Coffee Bunker, an organization that supports local veterans. She enjoys watching Food Network, online shopping, and traveling.

Brian Kelley: Brian is a legal assistant at RTY Law. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelors in Accounting. Brian recently moved to Tulsa to be closer to family and friends. He has  made plans to start volunteering at the Philbrook Museum and the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. In his down time he enjoys meal prepping, collecting vinyl, and attending sporting events.
